DLish is a home-based bakery, specialising in bespoke cakes to suit any occasion. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and fulfilling all your function requirements in a friendly and efficient manner. We have been operating for over 20 years – full-time for more than 12! Many of our clients have been with us since day one, and we value this loyalty, and strive to deserve it, above all else!

Graeme worked in the corporate world for some 20 years and accidentally discovered his talent for cake decorating in the late 90’s when it came time to plan his own children’s parties.

Jeni is involved in pre-school education but assists where necessary with her brilliant baking skills. She also uses her marketing skills to great effect for DLish!

Master Baker

Graeme initially tried to pursue a creative career through studying fashion design but sadly found himself absorbed into the corporate world for many years.

Later, a hobby that started as baking cakes for his children’s birthday parties, became financially stable enough to release him from his job in insurance.

The warning to, “not let your hobby become your main source of income or you will lose your love for it”, has luckily not run true for Graeme as his passion is still as strong, if not stronger, than the day he started! Graeme takes pride in every part of the creative process. He enjoys the challenge of interpreting his clients’ wishes into visual art…from the design to the rising cake in the oven and finally the last sprinkle of glitter on a completed masterpiece.

His thorough and detail-oriented approach leaves his clients with an end-product they could never have envisioned themselves; making their dreams come true through edible art!
